VTKC Annual Spring Drive to the north of Kansas City along Missouri Highway 36. Visits to Hamilton, Lacede, and Marceline are scheduled. Gayla Honeycutt is organizing (816-525-2527). Meet at McDonald’s in Liberty at 8:30am.

May 9 Independence, MO

Annual VTKC Kick-off Show at O’Reilly’s Automotive, 24 Highway at Sterling, Independence, Mo. 10am to 3pm. Lunch provided by the club with door prizes by the club and O’Reilly’s. Anyone owning or interested in the Ford Thunderbird is welcome. Gerald Embree is the contact. 816-796-8815.

May 24 KCMO Art of the Machine Car Show at the Farmer’s Market in downtown Kansas City. Show times are generally 10am to 2pm. Plan on meeting in the UMB parking lot at 7th & Walnut @ 9:30 AM to drive in together. Contact Bob Nederman at 913-888-7744 or taxman@everestkc.net.
June 4-7 Oklahoma City, OK.

VTCI South Central Regional Convention in Oklahoma City, Ok. Hosted by the Sooner Thunderbird Car Club. We will have a caravan leaving on Thursday, June 4. We will meet at 8am in Gardner, KS at the McDonalds, Hwy 56 Exit. Don’t forget, the earlier your registration, the more chances for a free night of hotel. Old Settler’s Days in Olathe, Kansas. 9am – 3pm. Plan to arrive early so the club members can park together. Event held in the parking lot behind Olathe’s City Hall at Chestnut and Santa Fe, downtown Olathe, KS. (West of I-35 on Santa Fe)

September 25 Weston, MO.

VTKC Rally is being planned. Trip is being planned from the northland area towards Weston, Missouri. It is recommended that each vehicle have at minimum a driver and passenger for the drive’s activities. The MacEwen’s are planning this fun Rally. 816-436-4563 or geodebmac@yahoo.com

VTKC Annual Fall Drive. Destination for the drive is to be determined.

VTKC annual progressive dinner. This year to be held North of the river. MacEwen’s and Grindel’s have offered their homes for this event. We need one more Host volunteer who lives North of the River to round out the dinner plans. Please contact Tim Pundt if interested.
